Brewer starter Brandon Woodruff threw two innings and did not give up any runs despite five hits.
Keston Hiura scored an RBI double and Dan Vogelbach added an RBI single in the third inning.
Dylan Cozens took a solo shot in the fifth, then Jace Peterson hit a three with three runs and Billy McKinney hit a home run with two runs to make it 8-0 in the sixth inning.
Milwaukee aide Eric Yardley threw a goalless frame in the fourth inning, followed by JP Feyereisen, who scored two hits in a goalless fifth inning.
The Brewers will be back in action on Saturday at 2:05 pm for a street game against the Kansas City Royals. The game will air on FOX Sports Wisconsin.
