FA Cup fifth round: Man Utd v West Ham; Barnsley v Chelsea to be broadcast on BBC One

The BBC will broadcast the FA Cup game between Manchester United and West Ham in the fifth round and the journey from Chelsea to the Barnsley championship live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

There will also be live coverage of the game with Sheffield United and Bristol City on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sports website.

The fifth round games will be played between February 9th and 11th.

Last season’s winners, Arsenal, lost 1-0 to Southampton in the fourth round.

Manchester United are second in the Premier League and West Ham are fifth. On Tuesday, February 9, Hammers boss David Moyes will face his former team.

Chelsea’s game against Barnsley on Thursday 11 February will mark Thomas Tuchel’s first FA Cup game after replacing the sacked Frank Lampard earlier this week.

Bottom of the Premier League table, Sheffield United are hoping to avoid a shock against a Bristol City side who are eighth in the championship on Wednesday 10 February.

A top audience of 9.2 million people Manchester United beat Liverpool 3-2 in the fourth round on BBC TV and Red Button, 2.6 million also on BBC iPlayer and on the BBC Sport website.
