Will Vanderbilt’s Jack Leiter ever surrender another hit?
The potential number 1 on this summer’s MLB draft brings its 16.2-point streak against LSU on the line tonight (ESPN2, 9:00 p.m. ET). Head enters the game with a perfect 6-0 record and a tiny ERA of 0.25 that comes with 59 strokes in 36 innings.

After 16 in a No-hitter against South Carolina on March 20th he was untouchable again seven no-hit innings against Missouri.
But when Leiter has a contest for the best pitcher in college baseball – and possibly the best draft pick – he’s coming from his own clubhouse and junior Righty Kumar Rocker.
Rocker, the most outstanding player of the 2019 College World Series, is currently checking in in third place Kiley McDaniel’s ranking draft, a place behind ladder.
On Thursday, Rocker threw six innings of a one-run ball in a 13-1 win over LSU to improve to 7-0 year-over-year.
Now it’s Ladder’s turn again.
