Meat packaging company JBS confirms that it paid a $ 11 million ransom to hackers who targeted its operations in the US and Australia.

JBS, the world’s largest meat processor, confirms that it has paid a ransom of $ 11 million to cyber attackers.
JBA USA’s CEO Andre Nogueira called it a “very difficult decision”.
“However, we felt that this decision had to be made in order to avoid potential risks to our customers.”
JBS is based in Brazil, however Last week’s hack targeted servers in the US and Australia.
