Leonardo DiCaprio Buys ‘Modern Family’ Star’s Stunning Home!

Leonardo DiCaprio has come a long way in 20 years. Jump from the Romper Room and Friends to the Hollywood A-Lister and at the same time acquire a real estate portfolio that could make Ellen DeGeneres jealous.

According to toptenrealestatedeals.com, two main pieces of his collection are a decadent mid-century home in Palm Springs and a $ 23 million home in Malibu that he bought in 2017.

But not all of his purchases stay in his portfolio – some are given away to family members.

In a very generous act, Leonardo recently bought Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s Los Feliz home for his mother Irmelin Indenbirken for $ 7.1 million. A few years ago he also bought a home in Los Feliz for his father George DiCaprio for $ 4.9 million.

As with many great Hollywood stars, investing their money in an upside-down world has always been a problem and many have chosen real estate security.

While some stars have pulled their real estate investments out of California due to high taxes, DiCaprio has the majority of its real estate in the Golden State, except for an apartment in New York City and an island in Belize. Leonardo still lives in his two-story estate on the Sunset Strip – just a 30-minute drive from his parents in Los Feliz.

One of LA’s prettiest homes, the Spanish colonial-style gated home was previously owned by Gwen Stefani and then Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

The formal living and dining rooms consist of four bedrooms and six bathrooms and have high ceilings and romantic Juliette balconies with views of each.

The factory, which was built in 1928 and has been completely modernized, has preserved and improved the historical details through careful execution. There are arched doors, tile roofs and floors, stained glass windows, multiple fireplaces, sleek bathrooms, curving stairs, an intricately carved front door, and inlaid ceilings.

The eat-in kitchen has everything that makes it beautiful and functional, and the family room with its folding screen can alternatively be used as a media room.

Almost all rooms open onto the attractively designed terraces, colorful gardens, courtyards, fountains and views of the Griffith Observatory. There is also a separate bathroom by the pool and spa and a separate zen / meditation / yoga room.

Along the way of other Hollywood A-listers like Scarlett Johansson, Kurt Russell, Keanu Reeves, Anne Hathaway, Ben Affleck, and others, DiCaprio also made a Netflix movie, Don’t Look Up, which will be released sometime in late 2021.

Brett Lawyer of Hilton and Hyland represented DiCaprio while the listing was held by Jennifer Akbari of Compass, Beverly Hills.
