LEXUS is preparing for an emission-free future as it envisages the electrified concept of LF-Z
Toyota’s luxury sub-brand – Lexus – recently covered the latest zero-emission concept – the LF-Z Electrified. Similar to most established automobile companies, the Japanese automaker is diversifying its range. According to his press release, the technology is a preview of all future vehicles. In fact, there are several models with different configurations that are currently being developed.
A growing awareness of how harmful conventional internal combustion engines are to our environment and health is driving consumers to consider greener alternatives. Therefore Toyota – through Lexus – intends to fix this soon with the LF-Z Electrified. Likewise, the company plans to provide its discerning customers with a platform that offers first-class quality and brand-related performance.
The LF-Z Electrified is a fascinating showcase of what could be on the go. Koji Sato, President and Chief Branding Officer, said, “As we fulfill our social mission of achieving a carbon neutral society, we will continue to provide the fun and joy that cars bring and we will contribute to the happiness and smiles of our customers and everyone busy with Lexus. “
Rather than just referring to it as an EV, Lexus is planning a new line of models and marketing them as either HEVs, PHEVs, or BEVs. The LF-Z Electrified ships under the latter, which they refer to internally as (Battery Electric Vehicle). In the meantime, this electric crossover will use “DIRECT4” – an in-house electric four-wheel drive.
With the impressive capabilities of modernity Electric motors Lexus claims owners will enjoy responsive driving dynamics over traditional engines. From a design standpoint, too, this crossover embodies the Lexus design language from all angles. In addition, it’s slim, sporty, and sophisticated. The LF-Z Electrified, along with several other models, should arrive sometime in 2025.
