MIAMI (AP) – Dillon Brooks scored 28 points in 10v16 shooting and the Memphis grizzlies finished another Miami Winning streak, beat them heat 124-112 on Tuesday evening.
Jonas Valančiūnas had 20 points and 10 rebounds, Kyle Anderson finished with 19 points and Desmond Bane 15 points for the Grizzlies who won their third straight.
Jimmy Butler scored 28 points and Bam Adebayo had 18 for the Heat, which their last four had won. Three weeks ago at five o’clock, Memphis stopped another winning streak in Miami.
Victor Oladipo scored 16 points in a trade with Houston in his third game since joining the Heat.
Memphis beat Miami 13: 5 in the first 3:59 of the fourth quarter and extended their lead to 109: 94.
Grizzlies top scorer Yes Morant was kept at 10 points. Morant shot just one shot in the first half, but the Grizzles were leading at half time 63:57. Valanciunas and Anderson each shot 6-8 from the field and together scored 35 points in the half.
Grizzlies: Brooks scored nine points in a row for the Grizzlies late in the third period. When the heat got on him during Memphis’ last tenure of that time, Brooks found an open position Tyus Jones for a 3-pointer that gave the Grizzlies a 96-89 advantage. … Valanciunas extended his double-digit rebound streak to 17. Heat: Oladipo’s addition has removed security guard Kendrick Nunn from the rotation. Nunn, who has started 26 games and averages 13.5 points, saw no playing time for the third time in a row. … Okpala concentration camp (health and safety protocols) sat out on Tuesday. ….
