Minnesota Timberwolves Beginner Anthony Edwards Maybe he would have ended any discussion of the NBA season’s best dunk by the time he scanned Toronto Raptors Forward Yuta Watanabe.
“It was one night,” said Edwards during a subsequent post-game interview Minnesota’s 86-81 loss. “I don’t really care about the dunk, I was just hoping we’d win.”
Edwards had reason not to overwrite his dunk, he was 3 of 14 shooters with 7 points and the Timberwolves only made 23.7% of their shots. However, an amazing dunk is an amazing dunk.
