‘People are starting to see light at the end of the tunnel’

Senior doctors at a Wales hospital have described increasing pressure to help patients who have suffered late treatment during the pandemic.

Clinicians say many employees are burned out with a mountain of work to be seen, but they are also beginning to “see light at the end of the tunnel”.

BBC News spent four days at Glan Clwyd County Hospital in North Wales filming in areas outside of Covid to understand the challenges of treating patients with urgent diseases.
