Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, the musical couple who met as a judge at the reality singing competition “The voice,” On July 3rd we officially tied the knot.
Stefani ended the wedding speculation on a July 5th Instagram post wears a robe and pulls back a wedding veil with a white ribbon. “July 3, 2021,” she wrote in the caption with a heart emoji and tagged Shelton.
“The Today Show” reported that the ceremony took place at Shelton’s ranch in Oklahoma, in a chapel that Shelton built for Stefani on the property. The intimate wedding was attended by 40 guests, with Carson Daly, host of “Today” and “Voice,” serving as the official officer.
Stefani posted a gallery of couple photos, including one revealing her Vera Wang dress under a bright sky with the hashtag #married.
“Dreams come true,” wrote Stefani in the caption.
The post contained a photo of the happy couple driving away in a festive golf cart as Stefani appeared to be throwing her bouquet. Another photo showed the two kissing in front of a multi-tiered wedding cake.
Stefani wore a tailored, lily-white dress with a plunging neckline and a cut-out back. The dress featured hand-embroidered names of “Gwen” and “Blake” as well as the names of Stefani’s children Kingston (15), Zuma (12) and Apollo (7). The names were flanked by two white roses on the hem of the veil.
For the reception, Stefani wore a strapless mini dress by Vera Wang in lily white made of Italian silk crepe. The embroidery was highlighted by a pair of hand-sewn love birds symbolizing the couple. They were joined by three baby love birds to represent Gwen’s children.
TMZ posted a video of the couple’s first dance to Peter Gabriel’s “Your Eyes”.
Stefani, 51, hinted at the wedding in early June Instagram with a photo of herself drinking a glass of wine and holding a present that says “SHE’S GETTING MARRIIIEEEEED”
The couple met on the set of “The Voice” in 2015 when both coaches were on NBC’s long-running talent hunt. The couple formed a quick friendship and bonded over their complex, high-profile divorces. The following year Shelton told The Tennessean, Part of the USA TODAY Network, the relationship “literally saved my life”. He stated that he and Stefani initially struggled with trust issues, but they made them an inspiration for their first duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart”.
“Sometimes when you think things couldn’t get worse and you can’t get through another day, you never know what’s just around the corner that can save your life – it literally happened to me,” said Shelton, 44 .
“That we could be there for one another and relate to one another like no other in the world. … There is so much out there that is crazy, to have a shoulder and someone who can be there for you and understand and understand, it literally saved my life. “
The couple got engaged last October (Stefani thought about it later She “had no idea” that the proposal would happen) and expressed interest in a wedding in the summer of 2021 after she had initially held back with scheduling due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a 2017 interview with NBC “Today,” Shelton admitted that many fans were perplexed when they became a couple.
“In people’s defense, I think it’s so hard for people to figure out why Gwen wants to be with me,” he said. “I am not blaming you.”
Shelton said in an interview on July 2020 “Today” he worked hard to be a positive role model for Stefani’s three boys: Kingston, 15, Zuma (12) and Apollo (7).
During the interview, Kotb asked Shelton about Stefan’s Instagram post from Father’s Day thanking Shelton for “helping me raise these guys !!”
“This is a scary moment for me because it’s one thing for me to be with the kids all the time and be their mate,” Shelton said. “But then after a while you have to remember that they start to listen to things you say and that brings with it a lot of responsibility that is new to me.”

What could the wedding celebrations have looked like? Shelton spoke to Hoda Kotb, host of the “Today” show, about in March Miley Cyrus and Adam Levine, the Maroon 5 front man and Shelton’s former “Voice” coach who volunteered for the performance. And Shelton joked about USA TODAY last month that if it were up to him they would have a country wedding.
“If I chose our food, it would literally be all fried,” he said. “French fries, chicken tender, you know, all that stuff. I think she knows it would be a pretty classless wedding if I was in control. “
