USMNT and Juventus star Weston McKennie’s house burgled during game

USMNT midfield player Weston McKennie had broken into his house while Juventus‘Coppa Italia quarter-final victory over SPAL on Wednesday, the Italian team confirmed to ESPN.

The thieves could leave with branded shoes and clothing as well as several other valuables.

Given the timing, the initial outlook is that the heist was planned with the knowledge that McKennie would be playing for Juventus at the time. He alerted authorities the following day when he returned home and forensic police were searching the rooms for potential DNA.
