While more stores will be open than on Thanksgiving and Christmas, several major retailers will be closed, including Costco, Sam’s Club, and Target. These stores, as well as many shopping centers and department stores, are usually closed for holidays.
Several grocery chains, including Walmart and BJ’s Wholesale Club, will be open on Sunday along with drugstore chains CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid, although opening times may be shortened. Some pharmacies are closed or have limited opening hours for holidays.

For the second time in a row Lowes will be closed on vacation while Home Depot is opening stores.
Store and restaurant hours of operation may vary by location and may be affected by state or local laws. Some stores with shopping malls will be closed while locations in plazas will be open.
